Hello!
First of all I want to say sorry for my terrible english (school-english), but I hope you understand me nevertheless. I think it is a pity not to write (and not to say what I want)because there are a handful of mistakes in my letter!

I have heard a song from Soraya some years ago in a german TV-show and on the next day I could buy the CD ’on nights like this’ in a music shop.
Wonderful songs, the voice with so much feeling - only great!
I have heard it again and again and learned the lyrics.
Of course I had to buy the CD ’wall of smiles’, but the first CD is my favorite one.
One day I asked a friend of me, a keyboarder, to play ’ruins in my minds’ as a playback-version. He was inspired (?/enthusiusm? - is this o.k.?), as he listen to the music.

And then, one in the morning on the way to work there are a little message on the radio; Soraya is dead ... and I think it must be another person.

But last night I found this website and I could read that it’s true ... - why?

My letter comes too late, but her music and her songs are not forgotten. And every time when I sing her song for my friends, my thoughts are with a wonderful lady and a great singer!

I discovered Soraya two years ago while browsing through the CD’s at my public library. Out of curiosity, I checked out one of her albums and was immediately captivated by her music.

Soraya’s soulful, beautiful voice is one-of-a-kind. Her departure from this world at such a young age breaks my heart. (I just learned about her passing while visiting the Soraya Web site.) Soraya’s death hits close to home because my wife is a breast cancer survivor. So I know, firsthand, how this insidious disease can wreck lives and shatter dreams.

No doubt you’re in God’s arms now, Soraya. And Heaven will be forever brightened by your artistry and shining spirit.
